Maurer Productions OnStage, the company that brought you It's a Wonderful Life, Lucky Stiff and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, is holding open auditions for its upcoming production of the musical Singin' in the Rain on November 10th from 10AM to 6PM and November 11th from 12PM to 6PM.

Based on the classic MGM Musical staring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor, this show is a rare opportunity for local singers, actors and especially dancers to strut their stuff in a lavish musical production that will feature amazing dance sequences, complex set pieces, an integration of live theatre and video production -- and yes, a real rain storm, live on the Kelsey stage.

This production will be presented at Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College. It will includes 26 speaking roles and a cast that could eventually swell to more than 30 performers. This show will be directed by John M. Maurer, who will also design all the sets and direct all video segments. Meanwhile, the dance numbers will be choreographed by Jane Coult, whose many credits include It's a Wonderful Life, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Lucky Stiff and many more.

The show will feature classic song and dance numbers like Singin' in the Rain, Good Morning, Broadway Ballet (Gotta Dance) and lots more. So don't miss out on a chance to be a part of the production people will be talking about for years to come.
